Pasta with Tuna in a Marinara Sauce

Tuna Delight


Ingredients:

1/8 tsp (.5 g)
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg (330 mL)
Olivieri Marinara
1 pkg (350 g)
Regular Fettuccine
2 tbsp (30 mL)
olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 to 6 anchovies fillets, chopped
2 tbsp (30 mL)
red wine.
1 can
tuna, drained
2 tbsp (30 g)
fresh basil, chopped
2 tbsp (30 g)
fresh basil, chopped
2 tbsp (30 g)
fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp (15 mL)
butter
1/4 tsp (1 g)
dried oregano
1/4 tsp (1 g)
dried thyme
1/8 tsp (.5 g)
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup (125 g)
grated parmesan cheese


Cooking Instructions:


In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add anchovies; cook, stirring, until anchovies become paste-like. Stir in red wine, Marinara sauce and tuna, cook 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook Fresh Linguine Pasta according to package directions. Stir basil, parsley, butter, oregano and thyme into sauce. Season to taste with pepper. Toss pasta with sauce. Serve immediately, sprinkled with parmesan.

Use Fresh Fettuccine, Linguine or Angel Hair Pasta
